Channel Sales Manager

Location: Prague

Tranquini Positively Relaxed is a new relaxation beverage and lifestyle brand, leading the evolution of the drinks industry and providing a genuine option for consumers seeking a more positive lifestyle. The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual goals and targets, ensures top quality implementation of the Business Plan in partnership with the distribution partner’s team and TQ country/regional teams. Responsible for the traditional, general trade channels, e-commerce, and Tranquini specific relaxation occasions channel, that include work environments, university campuses, yoga and fitness studios, hotels/resorts/spas, lounges/coffee shops.

Responsibilities include:

Business Planning and Budgeting

  • Directly overseeing sales and trade marketing in the wholesale, C&Cs and general trade sales channels, works closely with DP Team and TQ country team to deliver on Sales, Distribution and Profit targets short and long terms
  • Sales and Trade Marketing results analysis and monthly and weekly reporting
  • Operates only within the budget approved
  • Demonstrates discipline and ownership in budget split, tracking and it’s utilization strictly in line with guidelines, approved amounts and allocation by customers

Distribution Partner Cooperation

  • Sets up a positive business and personal relationship with Distribution Partner (DP)
  • Delivers monthly sell out volume targets based on agreed Business Plan
  • Regularly analyses the potential of Distribution growth, Distribution Quality development in the country, inform the DP and coordinate the action plan
  • Ensures timely and quality store-checks, communicating the store-check results to DP, agreeing with DP corrective action plan and ensuring follow-ups
  • Prepares and carries out motivation/incentive programs DP’s sales personnel to execute Sales Plans, Distribution and Distribution Quality with the assigned sales channels
  • Ensures placement of Tranquini assets/POSM in accordance with the contracts and plans
  • Ensures timely, correct and complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting and data sharing from DP
  • Conducts weekly and Monthly business review with DP in accordance with agreed calendar

Accounts Management

  • Stay in contact with Dealers, Distributors, Wholesalers and C&Cs, analyse sales performance, both to determine the sales potential and inventory requirements of products and stores and to monitor customers' preferences.
  • Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients
  • Maintains reporting, analyse monthly performance versus set-up KPIs and agreed actions
  • Together with DP evaluates efficiency of the consumer promotions and prepare proposals of its improvement

Trade Marketing

  • Propose as part of business planning the relevant customers/in-store activities to drive business growth on different stages of it’s development
  • Align the proposed activities with DP and Country Head/Regional Management
  • Prepare the necessary materials for the activities sell-in to the Customers
  • Prepare, control production together with marketing and timely delivery to DP/Customer all POS, equipment, merchandise, prizes, etc
  • Ensure quality and timely execution in store of the agreed activities.
  • Lead analysis of the delivered trade activities for best financial efficiency and sales results of further activities.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of field sales experience for an Impulse FMCG company
  • Experience of “making thigs happen” and managing day to day execution.
  • A proven record of delivering outstanding business results, exceeding targets and finding solutions to business issues. Strong focus on results, problem solving skills.
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to build effective relationships in working with high level key accounts and across organization.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
